Wilfred is the Chairman & CEO of the Shipbuilding & Repair Development Company of Trinidad and Tobago Limited (SRDC) together with its non-profit entity, the T&T Shipbuilding & Repair Maritime Cluster (TTSRMC) since 2008. The TTSRMC started as a diversification initiative of the Ministry of Trade & Industry, Government of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago. He is also a maritime journalist, having authored several articles that was reviewed and published locally, regionally and in well-known global shipping publications, such as, Maritime Reporter and Engineering News, MarineLink, Caribbean Maritime, LNG World Shipping and Riviera Maritime Media. He is a former guest lecturer at the University of the West-Indies Lok Jack Global School of Business Port & Maritime MBA programme and their International Trade & Logistics Procurement MBA programme.
Lucyann is a Forensic Accountant/ AML/CFT Compliance Specialist. She is also owner of Henry Tyson & Associates Company Limited, a firm which specializes in forensic accounting. She is the holder of a MBA from the University of the West-Indies Lok Jack Global School of Business and is a former lecturer at the College of Science, Technology and Applied Arts of Trinidad and Tobago (COSTAATT) which is one of the largest public tertiary institutions in Trinidad and Tobago.
Deisy was born in Caracas, Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela. She holds an advance degree in Computer Informatics from the Instituto Universitario de Tecnología Pedro Emilio in Puerto Ordaz, Ciudad Guayana, Bolívar State. She is the developer of the maritime transportation and tourism project linking Tucupita with Trinidad and Tobago. Deisy was the recipient of the Order for Meritorious Service from the Delta Amacuro State in 2004 and also leads the Fundacion de los Jovenes "Jose Felix Rivas" (FUNDAJUVENTUD). Her NGO is a non-profit foundation and has worked with UNAIDS, the United Nations and the Inter-American Court of Human Rights.
Gerald is a certified electrician and has been a Director of the SRDC since incorporation. He is the owner of J-Mec Limited, a leading marine, industrial and commercial electrical company, which also specializes in electrical, electronics and instrument systems on-board drill-ships and ocean-going ships.
Yuhanna is the CEO of Heritage Designs & Developments Limited. He is an experienced Director with a demonstrated history of working in the construction industry. Skilled in Contract Negotiation, Architectural Design, Civil/Structural Design, Value Engineering, Reinforced Concrete and Steel Structures. Strong entrepreneurship professional who graduated from Edexcel International.
William comes from a management background and provides business counsel to the TTSRMC and the SRDC. He a Director for the Unicomer Group, a multinational retailing group. It operates several chains of retail brands in the consumer durables sector, specializing in furniture, audio & video, appliances and electronics in over 1,000 stores in Central America, the Caribbean, South America, and the United States of America employing over 15,000 associates.
